As far as I remember this must’ve been the last hard-coded HTML-website I’ve designed. Those were the days… In any case, also my design only stayed up for a little more than a year, and was then replaced by a more contemporary Joomla-based website. Today AVA’s online appearance looks like this.

 

After the Academy of Visual Arts was successfully established and started to generate public awareness, it became necessary to equip it with an up-to-date visual identity that reflected its mission to stand at the forefront of Hong Kong’s visual arts scene. It was meant to be of professional appearance while also come across as young, creative, and different.

On the basis of a simple set of five colours and a typeface I developed a website, promotion-materials as well as matching stationary that were first made public on Information Day 2007.
